Local Tip:  Guests who spend $30 at Copper on food and beverage and/or retail items between Monday-Thursday can turn their receipt into Guest Services for a free Weekday Warrior Activity Pass for same-day use. The Weekday Warrior Activity Pass is valid for the Woodward Copper WreckTangle, Rocky Mountain Coaster, rock climbing, go-karts, bumper boats, hydro bikes, and mini golf.  The $30 amount for the free voucher is not valid on activity passes, lodging, ski passes or golf purchases or other non-copper owned establishments.

Looking for a challenge on the links? Come play America's highest golf course! Copper Creek Golf Course is located in East Village. The course starts at an elevation of 9,700 feet and a tee box at 9,863 feet. Designed by Pete and Perry Dye, the narrow fairways and dramatic changes of elevation make this par 69, the eighteen-hole course one of Summit County's most fun and affordable golf courses. Avoiding water is the name of the game on the front nine. Golfers can take in the scenic, 10 Mile Mountain Range in the back nine. At 9,700 feet, you'll feel like Tiger Woods driving balls 20% further with the same amount of effort. Call to schedule a tee time and pricing. Summer Snow Terrain Park

Snow lovers can keep the progression going all summer long in Center Village at the base of the American Eagle lift. Grab a session in the Big Island Terrain Park and work on your skills with built-up jumps and other features in this park. Limited spots are available, but you can purchase tickets online. On-snow park sessions will be offered on Saturdays throughout the summer (as snow conditions permit) in our Big Island Terrain Park from mid-June to late September, or for as long as the snow holds out. Tickets can be purchased in Center Village at Camp Hale Outfitters at Guest Services desk. Limited spots are available each Friday-Sunday, prepurchase your ticket by calling 866-260-6306.
Rocky Mountain Coaster

Come take a summer ride on the Rocky Mountain Coaster. Twist and turn through the forest under and west of the American Flyer lift in Center Village. The coaster is 5,800 feet long, making it one of the longest coaster in North America! It descends 430 vertical feet on an average grade of 10.9%. The Rocky Mountain Coaster will be open both summer & winter seasons, giving two unique ways to experience the beauty of Copper Mountain. Purchase tickets at The Rocky Mountain Coaster Cabin located near the base of the American Flyer lift or in Camp Hale Outfitters at Guest Services desk located Center Village, open 7 days a week, 11am - 4pm. There are a few participation requirements: Driver must be 9 years or older & a minimum of 52" tall. Children must be 3 years or older and a minimum of 36" tall. Passengers ages 3 - 8 must ride with a driver 16 years old or older. Maximum combined weight per cart is 300 lbs. The tallest rider must sit in the rear of the cart ensuring the driver has a clear view of the track.

The open-air chairlift up the American Eagle Lift at Copper Mountain transports you to 11,375 feet, where you’ll be awed by the breath-taking views. You can have lunch at the Solitude Station, explore a little, then hike or ride the lift back down for Center Village activities and summer events. Visit Guest Services desk located in Center Village in Camp Hale Outfitters to pick up a ticket to the top. Buy a Summer Activity Day Pass and enjoy all the fun in the village and on the mountain that you can handle. Copper will start running the American Eagle lift about mid-June when most of the snow at the base has melted.

Copper Mountain downhill trails offer breathtaking scenery and an adrenaline rush like never before! Copper Mountain Center Village has a mellow, friendly vibe in the summer with lift-accessed all-mountain singletrack and service roads. The American Eagle chair brings riders and bikes up for a great beginner's experience or more challenging singletrack trails for more experienced riders. Beginners can enjoy easy cross country trail rides, while advanced riders get a thrill out of technical downhill runs with optional wooden obstacles, trail berms, and tight switchbacks. The service roads also provide access for anyone who prefers to ride uphill after hours. Bike lift tickets can be purchased at Guest Services desk located Center Village in Camp Hale Outfitters.

For those looking for a smoother ride, Copper Mountain offers paved rec paths towards both Vail & Frisco. The Copper/Vail Pass Rec Path is accessible off Copper Road on the right at the end in West Village. For guests coming lower elevation, this ride is a workout. For a more leisurely ride, the Copper/Frisco Rec Path is a perfect option. The path's entrance is next to the Conoco Gas Station across Highway 91 near the entrance of Copper Mountain. Cruise down 6 miles without pedaling into charming downtown Frisco. Grab a bite to eat and take the Summit Stage Bus back to avoid the gradual 6-mile climb back to Copper. Be sure to get a bike rack spot by starting to commute back from the Frisco Transfer Center located behind Walmart.

Come scale the largest outdoor climbing wall in Colorado. Routes available for all skill levels. Harnesses, ropes and trained staff members will be on-site. Tickets are available inside Camp Hale Outfitters at Guest Services desk in Center Village. Each ticket is good for one climb. Kids 5 & under free! Purchase online at least 1 day in advance and save! Online in advance is $13, walk-up rate is $15.

Go-karts

For thrill seekers young and old, check out Summit County's only go-cart track, Copper’s Go-Karts in the Chapel Parking lot. Race around the track with friends and family as Copper’s Center Village parking lot is transformed into a circular course that opens in mid-June and stays open through Labor Day. While this activity is great fun, there are some age and height restrictions. Tickets are available inside Camp Hale Outfitters at Guest Services in Center Village. You must be at least 56 inches tall to drive a go-kart. Children must be 4 years or older to ride and 16 years old to drive with a passenger. An adult must be present to sign a waiver.

Bumper Boats

Explore the West Lake side of Copper! The family will have a blast driving the bumper boats on Copper's West Lake during our summer months. Battle against friends or strangers with the attached squirt gun! Bumper Boats operate Sunday - Friday between 10 AM - 5 PM and Saturday between 10 AM - 7 PM. Tickets are available inside Camp Hale Outfitters at Guest Services desk in Center Village. Kids 5 and under can boat FREE.

The summer days at Copper are full of sunny and mild temperatures. The mountainside transforms into a lush, evergreen forest where you’ll find lots of hiking choices. Ride the scenic chairlift up the mountain to 11,375 feet and hike among the granite boulders and tree-covered trails. Or start your hiking adventure on the Colorado Trail right here at Copper. Hikes are self-guided and vary in length. You can obtain more information at Guest Services in the base of Center Village in Copper Sports. You can expect an afternoon shower, so bring a light rain jacket. Most trails are out and back so you can decided how far you want to hike.

The mini golf course is located at the base of the American Eagle lift in Center Village. Practice your putt on this nine-hole course while enjoying family time in the outdoors. tickets are available inside Camp Hale Outfitters at Guest Services desk located in Center Village, which is very near all the outdoor action. Pick up golf clubs and balls at the information center. It's $12.00 per round.

Disc Golf Course

Grab a friend and come play our challenging course featuring extreme elevation changes throughout the 9-hole course from dawn to dusk. Did we mention it's free? The course is well marked with signage guiding you to next tee. Golfers can expect to play up, down and across ski runs at the base of Copper Mountain Ski Resort. Please respect the course and leave no trace. The practice basket is located left of the chair lift, at the bottom of the hill to the left of the mini putt course. The first tee is down the walking path to the left a couple hundred yards from the practice basket on the ski bunny slope.
